Wedding Anniversary Milestone

On Sunday, May 4, 2008, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church celebrated the couples in our congregation who have been married for between 50 and 55 years with a Wedding Anniversary Milestone. The couples were recognized during the 10:30 service and greeted by the congregation.

After the service, dinner was served for the couples and their visiting family members with help from some of the youth of St. Mark’s.

The Milestone will be memorialized with a hand crafted tree certificate bearing the names of the couples.

The following couples were honored:

• James & Ernestine Doane - 55 years
• Cecil & Kathryn Calvert - 54 years
• Charles & Ann Kuntz - 54 years
• Lawrence & Catherine Lundy - 54 years
• Frank & Phyllis Ulman - 54 years
• William & Marion Waldeisen - 53 years
• Charles & Ruth Ditchfield - 52 years
• Theodore & Jane Larson - 51 years
• Arthur & Jane Kline - 50 years
