Every year, at Christmas time, the kids get a day out, at church.  Their parents can shop or run errands.  The kids play games, work on crafts, read stories, make gifts for their parents and bake cookies for shut-ins.  This year the kids had a lot of fun, while parents worked on those Christmas presents.
