St. Mark's Lutheran Church |
142 Market Street Williamsport, Pennsylvania |
The Sunday School year started up with a bang when church families packed fellowship hall for breakfast on September 5, 2010. The crowd feasted on French toast, bacon, eggs, hash browns and muffins, all served up by our own Parish Life Committee, led by Bob Jones. What a great way to get ready for Sunday School!
The St. Mark's Sunday School program begins in earnest on September 12, 2010 with programs for all ages - pre-school through adult. In two adult classes, studies will focus on the New Testament books of Romans and Paul. High school students study current events and how the bible helps put things into perspective. The middle school students prepare themselves for Confirmation by learning about what it means to be a Lutheran. Elementary grades will continue to use the Spark curriculum. The program is more fully outlined on the Sunday School page.
All classes begin at 9:15 AM. The youth gather in Fellowship Hall, while the adults plunge right in to their studies. All are welcome!
