At 7:30, the crowd moved indoors for Dick Lakey's annual concert of patriotic music.
Later the front lawn was crowded for the fireworks display.

July 4th hospitality
A tradition continues! Independence Day 2010 again saw St. Mark's volunteers feeding the multitudes who were passing by on their way to Williamsport's fireworks display.
Some folks stared in disbelief. Others jumped right in. But in the end hundreds of people were fed hot dogs, popcorn, Cheetos, pretzels and candy. Iced tea, lemonade, soda and water were pretty popular too.
Good will and just being a good neighbor is the point of this annual effort. Most folks appreciated the hospitality. Some donated to St. Anthony's Center, in the collection boxes that were left on the tables.
