Flipping burgersgiddyupScenes from the Summer Picnic

June 3, 2012

Sunday morning dawned bright and sunny . . . well no, actually cloudy and rainy.

But "neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night" will stop the St. Mark's annual picnic from going forward as planned. And that dry window right around lunch time was helpful too.

The key to any good picnic is the food, and the food certainly was true to its reputation.  Burgers and dogs, salads, pastas, fruit, beans, Brussels sprouts and bacon, brownies, cake, cookies and more.  Everyone got their fill.
