Hannah Haussmann and Taylor Wentzel with the quilt they produced.Young Quilters

Hannah Haussmann and Taylor Wentzel produce quilt for charity

Quilting isn't usually considered to be a task for middle schoolers. That didn't stop St. Mark's members Hannah Haussmann and Taylor Wentzel from trying something a bit new - for a good cause.

Under the tutelage of experienced quilter Ruth Reese, the two girls constructed a beautiful quilt, which was displayed during services on October 12. The quilt will be provided to a needy family, to provide warmth in the cold weather.

Congratulations to these young ladies for successfully completing the quilt. May the fruit of their long labor provide comfort in time of need.
