Sun/Mon at St. Mark’s, Tue/Wed at Trinity, Thursday’s special event at Loyalsock Pool

For this year’s Vacation Bible School, we are again joining forces with Trinity Episcopal Church to bring in two leaders from Camp Mount Luther for week of learning and fun!

The theme is “La Frontera, where Jesus meets us,” during which we will explore all the different ways in which Jesus meets us: in ourselves, our neighbors, on the Cross, at Communion…wherever we are in life.

We will be two nights here at St. Mark’s, then two nights at Trinity. Our fifth night will be at Loyalsock Pool. On our nights, we are responsible for the meals, snacks and crafts—Trinity will provide these when we are there. On the final night, pizza is provided at the pool.

VOLUNTEER-WISE, we have had someone volunteer for the craft table and someone is heading up the food preparation. We will a few volunteers in food service for the two evenings we are hosting…so that’s only Sunday and Monday. If these folks wish to tag along the rest of the week or join us for the final day, of course, they are more than welcome.

TEEN ASSISTANTS are needed, as always...specifically, 2 high schoolers to lead games all week—here and at Trinity. Trinity will also provide two youth for this activity.

AN ALL-WEEK ADULT NEED is two leaders for the various “families” of children—we will need these instructors all week to give the kids a sense of continuity as we change venues. Trinity is also providing two instructors, so we will have four classes or “families” of children.

It’s sure to be an exciting time! Please consider joining us for this exciting event!
