Wrecking crews demolish the Reno Post Hall at the northwest corner of Third and Laurel Streets June 13, 1963. (Williamsport Sun-Gazette) This building was used by the German Lutheran and German Reformed congregations in the 1800's. St. Mark's was formed in 1852 from the German Lutheran congregation. Then known as the English Lutherans, the congregation continued to worship here until the new Market Street church was dedicated in 1856.
