St. Mark's Vacation Bible School 2010
Our St. Mark’s family took to the high seas this year for vacation Bible school. During their adventures, they learned about Peter and Paul and how our faith frees us, comforts us, surprises us; how it changes our lives and is for everyone!
They learned four new songs with lasting meanings and were actively involved in the Bible stories, experiencing the fear and faith of the early Christians. 45 children and youth were involved and, together, collected over $144 for Family Promise. It was an exciting week built on one of the best VBS programs we’ve ever used.
The final night ended with songs for the parents, grandparents and families of all the children were invited. After all was said and sung, all retired to the courtyard for marshmallows toasted over an open fire and S'mores.
