Blanket SundayQuilters, March 2011Blanket Sunday!

Sunday, October 2, 2011, was blanket Sunday.

How could you tell?

A key clue - every pew was adorned with one or more of the beautiful quilts that our quilting ladies created during the past year.

Quilters, March 2011Stunning!

This year, the ladies sewed over 100 quilts. Thirty-three of them were donated locally to the Red Cross for distribution to flood victims. The rest of the quilts will be sent over-seas to needy people, by Lutheran World Relief.

Good work ladies!
