Cookies

After the kids baked during "kids day out," the pros got busy. Although a bit less exotic than the chocolate chip and M & M laden delicacies created by the kids, the cookies were just as good and much appreciated by the shut-ins and others who received cookie packages at Christmas time.  A few cookies may even have ended up in the bakers' bellies!

BreadIn January the bakers were back at work - this time to learn something new, and for fun.  Katy Elkin was in town from Spain, and she brought with her some local, exotic bread recipes and a lot of energy for kneading.  At the end of the day, everyone went home with some tasty treats.
