Annual Congregational Meeting

Vicki HaussmannThe annual congregational meeting of St. Mark's Lutheran Church was held December 7, 2025.

Council President Vicki Haussmann opened the meeting with prayer and recitation of St. Mark's mission statement. Officers for the meeting were selected and the minutes of the  2024 meeting were approved.

President Haussmann referred the members to the booklet of written reports, on the activities of the church members in the past year. The reports may be found here.

Scott Seyler and Shawn CartwrightCouncil members were elected for 2026. Deb Buckman and Nikki Jackson were nominated for second terms. Shawn Cartwright and Scott Seyler were nominated for first terms. Nominations were closed and the nominees were unanimously elected to 3 year terms.

Treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee Deb Buckman offered the proposed 2026 budget for discussion and approval. The Proposed budget was approved without dissent.

The final matter of business was a motion of Council for authority to select 2 members to attend the Synod Assembly as Church delegates. That motion was likewise approved.

The meeting concluded with President Haussmann thanking the congregation for assistance during the past year. All were invited to attend the brunch following the meeting.
