Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Egg Hunt Brings Out the Kids

 

Finally, a sunny Spring day.  Perfect for the Easter egg hunt.

First, a wonderful breakfast of eggs, sausage and pancakes.  Everyone ate their fill.  But the nervous excitement for the big event was ever present.

Then the big event.  The little ones first.  The the older kids.  A mad dash and every bag, bucket and hood was filled.  No one left wanting more candy.

Later an exercise in understanding God's sacrifice, and the meaning of Easter. The kids filled bags with different color jelly beans.  Each color represented a different aspect of the Easter story.  The bags will be given to the congregation on Easter day.
