Levi Gair and Hannah HaussmannSouper Bowl Sunday

The youth of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Williamsport, are helping to tackle hunger in the Greater Williamsport community by participating in the 30th annual Souper Bowl of Caring, a national youth-led grassroots effort to address hunger. Pictured preparing for the event are Levi Gair and Hannah Haussmann. Cans of soup and gifts were collected from those attending worship services on Sunday, February 2nd.

Soup is being delivered to the United Churches Food Pantry for distribution to community members who are food insecure.

Financial donations are also being collected and will be given to the Shepherd of the Streets to assist with their many ministries to the Williamsport community.
