Paster Vasey Retires

The Rev. Brian David Vasey was called as Pastor of St. Mark’s on September 15, 2019. He came to Williamsport from St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mifflinville, where he had served since 2015. He retired from active service at St. Mark's on August 2, 2026.
Pastor Vasey's final service with St. Mark's was a wonderful celebration of his time with us, and an acknowledgment of the influence of his family on his ministry, as his wife and children participated in the service.
After the service, Pastor Vasey was honored with a retirement dinner in Fellowship Hall, attended by a large number of members and well-wishers.
We shall miss Pastor Vasey: his thoughtful sermons, his happy face on Sunday mornings, his leadership. We wish him all the best in his retirement.
