Progressions Milestone

They're going to College!

On Sunday, August 3, we recognized those young adults who have just graduated from high school and are heading out on their own to college.

We also recognized parents as they experience their children leaving the nest. May they come to understand that the only way we truly keep hold of something is by letting go and that they take comfort in the knowledge that God will be with these young people as they take the next step in their lives.

We pray that God will be with all of them and guide them into a new, stronger relationship with each other and with Him.

We recognized:

• Stephen Boone, to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology for heavy equipment technology;
• Devin Owen, to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology for general studies;
• Emily Newcomer, to attend St. Joseph’s University for general studies, hoping to focus on international studies
• Riley Weber, to attend Pittsburgh University for pharmacology

 At an extended hospitality in fellowship Hall was celebrated after the service.
